Steven R. VanSickle
President & CEO
Mr.
VanSickle has an extensive background in the oil and gas industry
both in Canada and internationally. He has been involved in exploration,
production, strategic planning and portfolio management in the
oil and gas industry for the past 20 years.
Mr.
VanSickle began his career as an exploration geologist with Amoco
Canada in Calgary. In 1992-93 he attended Amoco's Petrophysics
training school in Tulsa, Oklahoma and in 1995 was transferred
to Houston, where he held a variety of positions including Exploration
Coordinator – Trinidad and Exploration Manager – Angola.
In January 1998, he joined Pan East Petroleum Corp. which was
sold in November 1998. In 1999, he was part of the executive team
which founded Canadian Midstream Services Ltd. and was Vice President
Business Development until the company was sold to Duke Energy
Field Services in the spring of 2001. Mr. VanSickle was the Vice
President of Business Development for Duke Energy Field Services
in Canada. Prior to its conversion to an income trust, Mr. VanSickle
held the position of Senior Vice President, Exploration.
Mr. VanSickle received his B.Sc. in Geology from McMaster University in 1986 and attended the Kellogg Executive Development Program in 1997.

Aaron Grandberg
CFO
Mr. Grandberg graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1993 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. After graduation Mr. Grandberg went to work for a national accounting firm where the majority of his practice focused on the oil and gas sector. Mr. Grandberg obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1997.
Following public practice Mr. Grandberg joined NAL Oil & Gas Trust where he held numerous financial positions during the past seven years, most recently the title of controller which he held for the past five years.
Mr. Grandberg is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts of Alberta (ICAA) and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA).

David L. Summers
COO
Mr.
Summers has an extensive and varied background in the oil and
gas industry both in Canada and internationally. He has been involved
in exploration, production, operations and marketing in the oil
and gas industry for the past 24 years.
Mr. Summers began his career in 1983 as a plant
engineer with Amoco Canada at the East Crossfield Plant. From
1987 to 1989, he worked in Amoco's World Wide Construction office
in Houston. Upon his return to Canada in 1989, he held various
management postions within Amoco's production exploration and marketing department. In
October 1997, he joined Pan East
Petroleum Corp. as Vice President of Operations. In June 1998,
he was promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer, which
he held until the company was sold to Poco Petroleums Ltd. in
November 1998. In 1999, Mr. Summers co-founded Canadian Midstream
Services Ltd.(CMSL), a private Alberta midstream company. During his
time with CMSL, he held the position of Vice President of Operations
and Chief Operating Officer. In May 2001, CMSL was sold to Duke
Energy Field Services (DEFS) of Denver. At that time, he became
the Senior Vice-President of Commercial and Operations for DEFS's
Canadian business.
Mr. Summers graduated from the University of
Saskatchewan in 1983 with a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. Mr. Summers is a member of the Association
of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta
(APEGGA) and Canadian Gas Processors Association (CGPA).

Jackie M. Cugnet
VP Finance
Ms. Cugnet is a Chartered Accountant with 16 years of accounting and
finance experience in the oil and gas industry. Ms. Cugnet graduated
with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan
in 1990 and completed her Chartered Accountant designation in
1993 while employed with a national accounting firm.
Ms. Cugnet was appointed Vice President, Finance of Fairborne Energy
Trust in March 2007 after working in Fairborne's finance group
as Special Project Co-ordinator since August 2004. Prior to joining
Fairborne, Ms. Cugnet was the Vice President, Finance and Chief
Financial Officer of Questerre Energy Corporation from August
2003 to August 2004. From June 2002 until it was acquired by Fairborne
in July 2003, Ms. Cugnet was the Vice President, Finance and Chief
Financial Officer of Pivotal Energy Ltd. From 2000 to 2002, Ms.
Cugnet provided financial consulting services for several private
and public oil and gas companies. Prior thereto and from 1994
to 2000, Ms. Cugnet was employed in various financial positions
with Summit Resources Ltd., most recently as Controller from 1996
to 2000.
Ms. Cugnet is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of
Alberta (ICAA) and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants
(CICA).

David S. Cymbalisty
VP Engineering
Mr. David S. Cymbalisty was appointed to the position of Vice President, Engineering in 2004. Prior to this appointment Mr. Cymbalisty was Manager of Drilling and Completions at Fairborne Energy Trust since October 1, 2003
Prior to joining Fairborne, Mr. Cymbalisty
was Vice-President, Engineering and Chief Environmental Safety
Officer for Pivotal Energy Ltd. from August 1, 2002 until July
2003. Mr. Cymbalisty was President of Pan Ridge Oil Corp., a
private oil and gas company, from September 2001 to July 2002.
From December 1998 to April 2001, Mr. Cymbalisty was the Vice-President,
Operations at Ionic Energy Inc. Prior to that he was employed
by Barrington Petroleum Ltd. in a number of progressively more-responsible
positions including Operations Manager.
Mr. Cymbalisty holds a B.Sc in Geological Engineering
from the University of Manitoba (1985) and has completed course
work towards a M.Sc in Petroleum Engineering from the University
of Alberta. He is also a practicing member of the Association
of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta
(APEGGA).

Scott Hadley
VP Exploration
Mr. Hadley is a Professional Geologist with 20 years of experience working primarily in the Western Canada and Michigan Basins. Mr. Hadley joined Fairborne in 2002 as a Senior Geologist , became Chief Geologist in 2004 and was appointed Manager Exploration of Fairborne Energy Trust in 2007.
Mr. Hadley began his career as an Exploration Geologist with Amoco Canada Petroleum. In 1996-97 he attended Amoco Corporations Petrophysics training program in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Upon his return to Amoco Canada he worked in the Exploration and Production Technology Group as a Staff Petrophysicist. Between 1998 and 2001 he held various management roles and director positions with several TSX Venture Exchange oil and gas companies.
Mr. Hadley holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Geology from the University of Western Ontario and a Master of Science Degree in Geology from McMaster University. Mr. Hadley is a professional member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geophysicists (APEGGA), member of the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists (CSPG), member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) and member of the Canadian Well Logging Society (CWLS).

Tom Park
VP Marketing
Mr. Tom Park joined Fairborne Energy Trust as Vice-President Marketing on February 28, 2005. Prior to joining Fairborne, Mr. Park held the position of Director, Producer Services & Financial Products with BP Gas & Power Canada. In this capacity he was responsible for developing relationships, purchasing supply and providing a variety of risk management tools to the producer and royalty trust sector.
From 1995 to 2001, Mr. Park held supervisory positions within the marketing segment with both Berkley Petroleum Corp and Direct Energy Marketing Ltd. Prior to 1995, Mr. Park, was employed at Northstar Energy Corp. as a Marketing Representative.
Mr. Park graduated in 1993 from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce.

Gary M. Poirier
VP Production
Mr. Poirier was appointed to the position of Vice-President, Production in 2004. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Poirier was Manager of Operations and Engineering at Fairborne since May 1, 2002.
Prior to joining Fairborne Energy, Mr. Poirier
held senior management positions with Dominion Energy Canada
Ltd. and Mobil Oil Canada. From August 2000 to April 2002, Mr.
Poirier was operations manager at Dominion Energy Canada Ltd.
From March 1997 to July 2000, Mr. Poirier was business unit manager
for the Yellowhead and Eastern business units of Mobil Oil Canada.
Mr. Poirier has 16 years of field operational,
engineering and exploitation experience in every area of the
Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin.
Mr. Poirier graduated in 1988 from the University
of Regina with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Systems
Engineering and is a member of the Association of Professional
Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA),
Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British
Columbia (APEGBC) and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
